Benjamin’s Trees is a local company established by Benjamin Topping. Ben qualified as a Tree Surgeon and arborist in 2006 and has had experience since working for large companies including work in Scandinavia where he gained expert knowledge in large compromised tree felling.

OUR SERVICES
Tree Removal
Benjamin’s trees specialises in the felling of large and compromising trees. Tree removal would involve felling the tree safely, either when the tree is damaged or diseased. This would be if all other pruning techniques are not feasible, or where a tree is causing an issue such as damage to surrounding property.
Crown Raising
Crown raising would involve removing the lower branches of a tree to allow light into a garden or surroundings, or for access purposes to produce space under the trees canopy.
Crown Reduction
Crown reduction would involve reducing the shape, size & weight of the tree, to prevent any limbs from breaking in poor weather conditions and to improve the look and health of the tree.
Crown Thinning
Crown thinning would involve removing specific branches from within the crown of the tree to make it appear less dense and allow light through.
Dead Wooding
Dead wooding would involve the removal of dead branches or limbs to prevent a tree from becoming dangerous. If dead wood is left it can also attract pests which disease the healthy parts of the tree.
Stump Grinding
Stump grinding would involve the grinding down of the remaining stumps after trees have been felled, so you are free to re-purpose the area without any persistent growth or obstruction.
Pollarding
Pollarding would involve a method of pruning that keeps trees and shrubs smaller than they would naturally grow, to restrict the plant to that height year after year, maintaining the trees appearance.
Hedge Cutting
Hedge cutting would involve the trimming of hedges to maintain and promote their ability to grow dense and compact, carried out to your exact specifications, including shaping and topiary.
